St Clare’s Oxford Introduces Flexible IB Study Option for International Students
Students interested in British boarding school life and the IB curriculum now have a more flexible study option at St Clare’s Oxford.
From September entry onwards, students may join the first year of the IB Diploma Programme (Year 12) for:
- 1 term
- 1.5 terms
- 2 terms
Why Is This Opportunity Interesting?
This new format allows students aged 16–17 to experience:

- preparation for future IB pathways
without immediately committing to a full academic year abroad.
Flexible Pre-IB Programme Also Continues
St Clare’s Oxford also continues offering its flexible Pre-IB programme for students aged 15–16. The programme helps students prepare for future IB Diploma studies and can also be joined by terms.
