University of Greenwich Open Day 2026: What to Expect at Medway Campus

University of Greenwich Open Day 2026: What to Expect at Medway Campus

The University of Greenwich Open Day gives prospective students an opportunity to explore the campus, discover its facilities and learn more about university life. During a visit to Medway Campus, you can meet programme leaders, staff and students, ask questions about the course you are interested in and consider whether the university is the right fit for you.

The next in-person University of Greenwich Open Day will take place on 17 October 2026.

Event Details

•  Date: Saturday, 17 October 2026

•  Time: 10:00 AM–3:00 PM

•  Location: University of Greenwich — Greenwich, Avery Hill and Medway campuses

•  Format: Undergraduate & Postgraduate In-Person Open Day

Start Your Visit at the Check-In Desk

One of your first stops after arriving at Medway Campus will be the check-in desk. University staff will provide materials to help you navigate the campus and plan your Open Day.

Visitors can:

•  collect a lanyard;

•  pick up an Open Day guide;

•  use the campus map;

•  check the timetable of activities taking place throughout the day.

This gives you an opportunity to organise your visit before you begin exploring the campus.

Visit the Information Stalls in the Main Building

An important part of the Open Day is the opportunity to speak directly with university staff and academics. The main building hosts a range of stalls where visitors can ask questions and learn more about different areas of the university.

You can also speak with programme leaders to find out more about the course you are interested in and gain a clearer understanding of whether the programme could be right for you.

Ask Questions About Starting University

The Open Day is not only about exploring courses but also about understanding the practical side of starting university.

Visitors to Medway Campus can find stalls covering areas such as:

•  accommodation;

•  student finance;

•  admissions;

•  other questions or concerns about beginning a university degree.

These conversations provide an opportunity to clarify practical questions directly with university staff before making decisions about your studies.

Explore Engineering and Science Facilities

Medway Campus offers visitors an opportunity to explore facilities connected with the Faculty of Engineering and Science. During the Open Day, you can discover laboratories, electronics facilities and other spaces connected with studying at the university.

Seeing these facilities in person can help you understand the environment in which your chosen subject may be taught and provide a clearer picture of the practical side of university study.

Discover the Drill Hall Library

The Drill Hall Library is an important part of academic life at Medway Campus. The library hosts different events and drop-in sessions designed to support students with their academic work. Students can receive help with areas such as finding books and referencing. Visiting the library during the Open Day can therefore provide another insight into the study environment available on campus.

The University of Greenwich Open Day is an opportunity to experience university life more closely and find answers to important questions before making your decision. At Medway Campus, you can move from check-in and conversations with programme leaders to information stalls, teaching facilities and the Drill Hall Library.

The next in-person Open Day will take place on 17 October 2026, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, across the Greenwich, Avery Hill and Medway campuses.
