Western New England University Welcome Week marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for incoming students. As the newest members of the Golden Bear community, students are welcomed to campus with opportunities to explore university life, discover academic programmes and prepare for a successful future.

Welcome to the WNE Community
Welcome Week helps new students feel part of the Western New England University community from day one. The university welcomes one of its largest incoming classes, encouraging students to build friendships, explore the campus and make the most of their university experience.
During Welcome Week, students can:
• Meet fellow students and university staff
• Explore the campus and student facilities
• Learn about academic and student support services
• Begin building their university community
Discover the Golden Bear Discovery Curriculum
Students will also be introduced to the new Golden Bear Discovery Curriculum. The redesigned curriculum offers a more flexible and hands-on learning experience, encouraging students to connect classroom learning with real-world challenges.
