Richard Bland College
Richard Bland College (RBC), carrying the traditions of William & Mary, is a prestigious two-year public college in Virginia, established in 1960. With a campus that spans over 750 acres and combines both modern and historic charm, RBC offers students a rich academic and social experience. The college distinguishes itself with more than 17,500 successful alumni and a highly qualified faculty. Most importantly, the majority of RBC graduates successfully transfer to leading universities in Virginia and across the United States. Education here is offered at affordable tuition rates, while students also benefit from a personalized mentorship system that supports both academic and personal growth. Known for its athletic achievements, RBC added a new chapter to its success story in 2022 by winning the NJCAA Division II National Championship.
RBC graduates continue their education at top universities across the U.S. and achieve significant success in their careers. Kirk Cox – former Speaker of the Virginia House of Delegates, Jennifer McGrew – Chief Financial Officer at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, Rodney Ashby, and many other alumni hold influential positions in diverse fields. Each year, the RBC Foundation honors graduates with the Distinguished Alumni Award, Young Alumni Award, and Richard Bland Award.
