Founded in 1866, the University of New Hampshire (UNH) is one of the few public universities in the United States with the prestigious R1 classification for very high research activity. Located at the intersection of nature and technology, the Durham campus makes UNH internationally recognized in fields such as ocean sciences, marine engineering, environmental studies, space research, and cybersecurity.
