St Clare’s is offering full and partial scholarships for its two-year IB Diploma Programme for September 2027 entry. The scholarships are available to international applicants for both day and boarding places and remain valid for the full two years of the programme.

Candidates are assessed according to academic performance, personal achievements, experiences, interests and the contribution they could make to the St Clare’s community.

How Are Scholarship Candidates Assessed?

St Clare’s scholarships are not based on academic results alone. Personal achievements, interests and potential contribution to the school community are also considered. All scholarships are also means-tested. Families should therefore be prepared to provide evidence of their income and assets as part of the assessment process.

What Can the Scholarship Cover?

There is no fixed scholarship percentage because each application is assessed individually. The maximum Anne Dreydel Foundation Scholarship can cover:

•⁠  ⁠Full IB Diploma tuition fees for day students

•⁠  ⁠Full IB Diploma tuition and accommodation fees for boarding students

Partial scholarships covering a percentage of the relevant fees are also available.

Scholarship Assessment Day

Shortlisted applicants are invited to take part in a Scholarship Assessment Day.

The assessment includes:

•⁠  ⁠Two written examinations

•⁠  ⁠A group exercise

•⁠  ⁠A series of short interviews

This stage allows candidates to be assessed across both academic and personal areas.

•⁠  ⁠Early Assessment Day: 7 November 2026 — in person or online

•⁠  ⁠Standard application deadline: 11 December 2026

•⁠  ⁠Standard Assessment Day: 23 January 2027 — online
