Founded in 1972, one of the first public universities in Florida, the Florida International University has become one of the world's leading universities with a high level of service and education. The university hosts about 50,000 students and is considered one of the 25 largest universities in the United States. Florida International University offers 68 undergraduate programs, 91 postgraduate and professional vocational courses, and 4 for doctorate programs. Currently, about 4,000 international students attend the university, including bachelors, masters
and other programs. Florida International University Miami has two main campuses: University Park (now Modesto Maidique) and Biscayne Bay campus. Both campuses, provide students with a unique, stimulating, learning and research environment. All conditions have been created for students to spend their leisure time effectively and entertaining at the University's extensive, high standard campuses. Specifically, one of the services that students can easily use on campus is a large library of 6 separate sections of the university.
