La Trobe University, the third largest university in the Victoria region, was founded in Melbourne, Australia's second largest and most important city in 1964. Trobe University, which cooperates with approximately 150 universities from more than 40 countries, is one of Australia's largest and fastest growing universities. Currently, 20,343 students study at the university. 2005 was a very
successful year for the La Trobe University rankings, in which year the university ranked among the top 100 best universities among the world's universities (98th place). La Trobe is one of the fastest growing universities according to world universities rating. The main campuses are located in Bundoora and Melbourneda. The other two large campus Bendigo and Albury are in Wodong. Students can enjoy its health center, library and reading halls, shopping center, sports and fitness center and dormitory service.
