Radboud University was founded on October 17, 1923 under the name of Catholic University Nijmegen. It is one of the oldest and advanced state universities in the Netherlands. When the university was established, there were 189 students and 35 professors and teachers. Currently, There are more than 20,000 students and 6,000 academic staff. International students make up 11% of the total number of students, and the international academic staff is 25% of the university academic staff. This allows the students to develop in an international educational environment. Radbound University, which has a very high reputation and rating, has been ranked by the European Research Council in Europe's as in top 30 research universities. It was ranked at the 122 nd place by Times Higher Education World University Rankings, and in 204th place by QS World University Rankings. The campus, which covers a wide area of the university, has a large number of laboratories, libraries, shops, restaurants and caf├ęs, a health center and a high-class dormitory. The excellent conditions has been created for students to spend their time efficiently and entertaining on the university campus.
