Radboud University was founded on October 17, 1923 under the name of Catholic University Nijmegen. It is one of the oldest and advanced state universities in the Netherlands. When the university was established, there were 189 students and 35 professors and teachers. Currently, There are more than 20,000 students and 6,000 academic staff. International students make up 11% of the total number of students, and the international academic staff is 25% of the university academic staff.
