Kansas University was founded in 1865. The University offers over 370 different bachelors, master and doctoral degree programs. More than 2000 international students study at the University. A total student number of the university is over 24,000. Kansas University cooperates with organizations from more than 110 countries. The University was in 367th place by the QS World University Ranking 2019.
The University has five campuses: Lawrence, Wichita, Salina, Edwards in Overland Park, and the medical department in Kansas City. Among the outstanding graduates, have the names of two Nobel Prize laureates, 13 former state officials, astronomers Clyde Tombaugh and three other NASA astronauts.
