Tilburg University was founded in 1927 under the name of the Roman Catholic Kommers University in the northern part of the Netherlands. It is considered one of the leading state universities in the Netherlands. Thousands of students from nearly 100 countries around the world are studying at Tilburg University. In total, 15% of 13,000 students are international students. According to Elsevire Magazine, Tilburg is the 1st in the University of Law in the Netherlands. It is one of the most preferred universities by international students. Tilburg University offers a total of 71 programs, including 22 bachelors and 49 master programs. This provides the selection of proper qualifications for students. The program offered at the University is taught both in English and Dutch. The university has a exceptional reputation
and high rating in Europe in the field of research. Times Higher Education is in top 200 (195th) in the ranking of world universities. According to the 2012 edition of REPECT, "Economics and Business Management" faculty is the 25th and the 7th in Europe. Over 63,000 students have graduated from the university since 1927.
