American University in Dubai - AUD is located in one of the trade centers of the region - United Arab Emirates and offers western education in the East. The university has been funded in 1991 and set up its goal to be the most prominent education center in the region. At the early years of its existence the university has been operated as a branch of American College in Atlanta. In 2000 year university became officially licensed UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOESR). New campus of the University established with complete new facilities has been moved to so-called 'New Dubai' area.
